History of the Marinaut 215

Final Assembly
21 April 10 - Voila!  And here is Hull #1 out of the molds and looking very much like a boat (and a good looking one at that)!
21 April 10 - This is where the helm bulkhead goes.
21 April 2010 - And a view aft.  Notice that the fuel tank does not take up cockpit space.
21 April 10 - The aft bulkhead in place.  This is also a good view of the transom and the motorhwell layout.
21 April 10 - The mock up for the interior cabinetry begins.
12 May 10 - Real cabinets.
26 May 10 - And the cushions go in.
26 May 10 - Finished dinette.
26 May 10 - Interior almost finished.
26 May 10 - Windows are in.  We use high quality Motion Windows from Pennisula Glass in Vancouver, WA.  The side windows and aft door window have screens.  Overhead is a nice stainless grab rail that we have custom made, it fastens with the studs from the outside cabin top hand rails so we have no extra holes in the cabin top.
26 May 10 - A nicely finished and open cockit.  The side mounted fuel tanks move weight out of the transom and open up the area under the aft deck for storage.
26 May 10 - Finished cabin top showing the custom full length stainless handrails and the aft bulkhead.
6 July 10 - Hull #1 just about finished.  It was a long but ultimately worthwhile trip.
